The Centre provides Royal Yachting Association (RYA) dinghy sailing courses, RYA Powerboat courses and British Canoe Union (BCU) kayak and canoe courses on the ideally sheltered waters of Poole Harbour - one of the premier places on the South coast for Watersports.
We believe that all of our courses offer excellent value for money. For example: RYA beginners sailing courses from £59, RYA Level 2 Powerboat courses from £190, and BCU beginners kayak courses from £49. Hamworthy Outdoor Education Centre is an RYA training centre for both dinghy sailing and powerboating and is situated on the northern side of Poole Harbour in Hamworthy Park. The Centre has direct access to one of the best and safest areas within Poole Harbour from its waterside premises.
The Centre has a mobile climbing wall which is available for hire.
For those who wish to have a go at different activities our family courses and holiday adventure courses are ideal. Activities may include dinghy sailing, kayaking, canoeing, powerboating, climbing, abseiling, raft building, slacklining and GPS orienteering on the water.
